Sorry there have been no updates on our family trip. We are just always out having fun!!!!! Here is a quick "top ten" list:
1.) Seeing Irati
2.) My mom driving us around in a 7-gear stick shift mini-bus
3.) My dad trying to speak in Spanish
4.) Mary eating a large amount of seaweed (she thought it was fish)
5.) Singing Christmas carols on a red-bus through Madrid
6.) Lagos, Portugal
7.) All of the food--my dad and I just finished $70 of paella...where are the Tums?
8.) 5-course dinner made by my Senora
9.) Dad getting in a quadracycle accident
10.) Being together in Europe--claro!

Buenas Dias, Janeio and VE family----we liked your blog Jane---but WHAT KIND OF ACCIDENT did your Dad (our son!) get into? I hope no one was hurt! We'll look forward to hearing all about it when your folks return. Love you all HEAPS! Gdma & Gdpa
ReplyDeleteIt was nothing. Basically my father (your son!) doesn't know how to steer a bike and drove his bike into a parked one. Other than us laughing, nothing occurred. Will update more later xoxo

We wish Ann, Mike, Mary and Matt a safe, speedy trip back to Milwaukee---we'll look forward to hearing a lot of stories on our way home from the airport on Sunday night. Hope to convince Barb to come with us, and the two of us will be happy to hold any luggage, etc. on on our laps on the way back. LOVE YOU ALL HEAPS!!! Gdma & Gdpa.
